My mom made me!

A couple good stories!!


At a swim meet after Justin had a bad swim he was being grumpy and not talking to me. He came over before his next race to see what I had to say. CL: 'oh so you are speaking to me now?' J: 'no, my mom made me come talk to you.'

Sigh...


CL: 'What do you want for Christmas?' J: 'I would really like for you to get rid of Jeremy for my Christmas present. And I would like to be there to watch.' CL: 'Not going to happen.'


As Justin is giving a REALLY long explanation of a story Jeremy tells him to move it along. J: 'I am giving my explanation like an expository prompt with lots of details.'

At least he is paying attention in school!!

Best Story Yet!

Justin's mom is going over his spelling words with him. One of the words is spite.
M: Justin do you know what spite means? J: No. M: How would you explain it Coach Lori? CL: I'll look it up!
.... Give him a definition and try to explain it ...
M: Do you know what petty means? J: Yeah, it's when you get your nails done.
::I fall off the couch laughing!!::
CL: Thats p-e-d-i not petty. It's stands for pedicure! And where did you learn that?!

Man

Justin walked into my office and said 'Hi Coach Lori. I'm going outside at 15 after. I'm a man and men make their own decisions.' As I try REALLY hard not to laugh at him I asked what made him a man. J: 'I have a six pack now and that makes you a man.' He then proceeds to show me his six pack. As I touch his 'six pack' he says 'Stop that Coach Lori, it tickles!'

Two good stories for the day!


CL: "Justin, are you going to swim at the Seminole Meet?"  J: "Well, I'm not really sure yet."  CL: "Well I took the day off of work so I could watch you swim."  J: "I'm guessing I'm swimming then."  CL: "Oh good!"


Getting in the car to go to swim practice.  CL: "Where is your mesh bag?"  Justin scurries into the house to get it.  He gets in the car...  CL: "Do you have your backpack?  mesh bag?  towel?  sneakers?  Do you have everything?"  J: "Yes and don't forget we have my beautiful face!"

I don't even know what to say to that....
