I can't believe Justin is nine already! I remember when he was a little five year old racing in the Barracuda meets! Where has the time gone?!
Last night Justin was out playing basketball in the driveway and I was sitting out watching him. When he was done I convinced him to sit out there with me since the weather was so nice. We had a hilarious Justin & Coach Lori conversation!
Talking about Charlotte, a girl in his class....
CL: "Are you going to miss Charlotte this summer? You won't see her for June, July or some of August." J: "No, I have you this summer."
CL: "So is Charlotte your girlfriend?" J: "Well she is a girl and my friend but not my girlfriend. There are certain things that have to take place before people become girlfriend/boyfriend." CL: "What are those things?" J: "I don't know! That's why Charlotte isn't my girlfriend!"
J: "On TV people always get girlfriends and boyfriends really quickly but there always seems to be a lot of dumping happening!"
Talking about grown-up Justin....
CL: "So Justin when you are grown-up and famous are you going to forget me?" J: "No, of course not. You can have some credit for my being famous. Just a little credit though." CL: "Will you build me a little house next to yours that I can live in?" J: "You can live in my house. You can rent a room for $150 a month. That is a good deal! Actually, you can just live in my house with me and be like my parent. Or maybe parents if you get married. But you don't even have a boyfriend right now so that is going to be a while. You are single. It might be a while before you are a double."
